At Pedante, we strive to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the process and conditions for returning items and receiving refunds for both business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) transactions.

1. General Conditions for Returns and Refunds

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Consumer (B2C) Transactions

EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal: Consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal: You must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, or email) . You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but it is not obligatory.

Effects of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Shipping:

  • You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

3. Business (B2B) Transactions

1-Year Warranty: For business customers, we offer a 1-year warranty on our products. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.
